Welcome to our website! We’re the Kicks Band. Founded in Bonner Springs, KS, in 1987 by Ross Woolf and the late Bill Wilhm, we’re celebrating our 30th year keeping the Kansas City Big Band tradition alive. You’ll hear your traditional big band favorites and maybe some things a bit different.
The band features people from all stations of life, linked together by their passion for the sound of the big bands.
We have many events coming up. We’ll be at the Kansas City Kansas Community College Jazz Cabaret on March 23; Jazz Vespers on April 9; Johnny Cascone’s Italian Restaurant on April 17. We’ll see you there!
