Kick off the Holiday Season with The Kicks Band. Bring your family and friends and create some new memories that will last a lifetime while celebrating timeless traditions. Your favorite Christmas songs will be brought to you with a Kansas City Big Band flair. There is also a rumor that there could be an extra special visitor from the North Pole! Our last scheduled event of 2017 is posted in the Coming Events section, but if you want us for your New Year’s Eve bash, you’d better hurry.  As of now, we’re still available, but the window of opportunity is quickly closing.

Thanks to all of our guests at Cascone’s, it was an amazing evening. The atmosphere was electric.

We still have some dates available for Christmas parties this December, and New Years Eve is currently open and available to make your party spectacular.

 

 

It’s been a fantastic past few weeks. The Boogie Ball, the Harvest Moon Delight and The Kicks Band 30th Anniversary were all top notch. We have had so much fun, we want to thank you all for being there with us.

Sept 30 – Join us for the 3rd anual Boogie Ball. The event benefits
Culture Thru Ballroom Dance, a not for profit program that brings
dance to children of all ages throughout school districts in the KC
Area. Tour the TWA museum from 6:30 – 7 and learn a new dance at the
free dance lesson from 6:15 – 7pm. Then get ready to dance the night

All proceeds benefit First Christian Church.

151st St. Stanley, KS 66223 – 913-897-4622. It’s been 30 years since
The Kicks Band began, and we’ve come a long way since our first gig at
Kelly Murphy park in Bonner so we’re throwing a party. Join us for a
fun yet elegant evening of dining, dancing, and much much more. $65
oer couple. Call now to reserve your ticket. If they don’t answer,
just leave a message with your name and number and say The Kicks Band
and they will get back to you as soon as they can. If you only make it
to one event this year, make it this one. This will be a night to
remember.

Welcome to our website!  We’re the Kicks Band.  Founded in Bonner Springs, KS, in 1987 by Ross Woolf and the late Bill Wilhm, we’re celebrating our 30th year keeping the Kansas City Big Band tradition alive.  You’ll hear your traditional big band favorites and maybe some things a bit different.

The band features people from all stations of life, linked together by their passion for the sound of the big bands.

We have many events coming up.  We’ll be at the Kansas City Kansas Community College Jazz Cabaret on March 23; Jazz Vespers on April 9; Johnny Cascone’s Italian Restaurant on April 17.  We’ll see you there!
